Sometimes we like to leave the Valley and go to San Antonio for New Years Eve. This year we decided to go to Austin and take a little mini vacation with the Solis's. We had a great dinner at the Embassy Suites Hotel and then left the two grandchildren with Grandma and Grandpa while we, along with Serg and Beth went to downtown Austin to take in the festivities. It was a lot of fun and very COLD! We got back just in time to bring in the New Year with Trinity. She of course was asleep, but Sam and I looked out from our great view of Austin and watched all the fireworks and the Ball Drop on TV. It was great! We also for the next couple of days visited the sites. We went to the Zoo, the Texas Museum and our state capitol. We had a blast, and made it right in time for church on Sunday. 2010 is off to a great start!
